Scholarship Programs
The Missouri Credit Union Association Scholarship Committee awards scholarships to national, regional, and MCUA schools and conferences.
Scholarship applications are mailed each November and due back in December. The committee makes its selection at the February MCUA Board of Directors meeting.

NYIB Annual ConferenceScholarship
The Missouri Credit Union Charitable Foundation (MCUCF) offers one full scholarship to the National Youth Involvement Board (NYIB) Annual Conference. Visit NYIB for more information about the conference.

The Credit Union Development Education Program (DE) is presented by the National Credit Union Foundation with support from World Council of Credit Unions, Credit Union National Association and CUNA Mutual Group. The DE Program strives to bring renewed relevance to the phrase, "People Helping People." Attendees take part in discussions of cultures and movements in developing nations, presentations on community development and low-income credit unions, and group work. In order to qualify for entrance to the program, individuals must:
- be an employee or volunteer of a credit union, league, association and/or service organizations or, in the case of international participants, an association affiliated with the World Council of Credit Unions;
- receive employer and/or league endorsement; and
- be willing to devote a reasonable amount of work and personal time for development-related volunteer activities of their choosing.
Southwest CUNA Management School
Southwest CUNA Management School (SCMS) is a 3-year course study designed to develop and enhance leadership skills for the Credit Union Professional. Students complete over 162 hours of focused curriculum and an additional 180 hours developing a strategic business plan for their own credit unions.
