Bob Schuckmann is the senior vice president of Finance & Technology of the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA). He started with MCUA in 1996 as director of Accounting. In this role, Schuckmann established clear tracking procedures and guidelines for the MCUA accounting department.
In addition to his supervisory responsibilities in the MCUA accounting & IT departments, Bob developed the Small Credit Union Accounting Service in 2004 to assist smaller credit union managers meet the ever increasing demands on their time. The service was developed as a short-term solution to help managers get things back on track, but has expanded to a long-term business solution. In 2006, the service expanded to include Heartland Business Services, followed in 2008 by the Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis and the Credit Union Association of Oklahoma in 2010.
Bob holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Accounting from Webster University, and an Associate’s degree in Electronics and Computer Science Technology from Linn Technical College.
He worked in several computer related positions with National Semiconductor in Santa Clara, California before deciding to make a career change and pursue his accounting degree. His credit union career began at Gateway Federal Employees Credit Union where he served as the Director of Finance & Accounting. Bob is a member of the CUNA CFO Council and frequently attends the AACUL F & A conference.
