Liz Adams serves as the senior vice president of Member Relations for the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA). She has held the positions of director of Education and Training, vice president of Education and Training, and vice president of Corporate Relations. She joined MCUA in 1991 as a senior account executive for the League’s Service Corporation. Previously, she spent 11 years with First Community Credit Union in St. Louis managing the call center, business development, human resources and lending departments.
Liz has also served as an adjunct professor in the graduate school of Missouri Baptist University where she taught Executive Communications, Leading Change in Organizations and Organizational Behavior & Leadership. In December of 2004, she was elected to the Board of Directors of the Children’s Miracle Network of Greater St. Louis and has served as chairman from 2008- 2011.
Liz earned a Bachelor’s of Science degree in Management in 1999 and a Master’s degree in Business Administration less than one year later in 2000 - both from Maryville University in St. Louis. She also has an Associate’s degree in business administration from St. Louis Community College. She has been a Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) since 1995. She received the LERN’s Certified Program Planner (CPP) designation in 2001 and the Convention Industry Council’s Certified Meeting Planner Designation in 2007. She received Meeting Planners International's Certification in Meeting Management (CMM) designation in April, 2012.
