Kevin Shaw serves as a field representative for the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) consulting 45 credit unions with less than $30 million in assets. He councils credit unions on regulatory compliance, key financial ratios, budgeting, and products and services. He keeps up with his credit union clients by making more than 200 contacts per year. Kevin has improved credit union operations by helping clients attain technological grants, facilitating planning sessions and providing training on asset liability management, financial literacy, board duties and responsibilities and key financial ratios.
Kevin earned his Credit Union Development Educator (CUDE) designation in 2005. He joined MCUA in 2000 as an accountant, after more than 15 years as a financial analyst in several different industries. He became a field representative in 2002. After five years as field representative, Kevin left MCUA to become president of a $25 million credit union. He returned to MCUA in 2010 to his role as a field representative.
