CEO Summit

How do you get good at strategy? As CEO of your credit union you are supposed to predict and forecast the future of your credit union. This year’s CEO Summit has been developed to work on setting strategies and creating a plan to use at your strategic planning session.

In 2002 (much less 2006), who would have predicted the economic malaise that began to take root in 2007?  Now, during a tenuous recovery, can we say what the financial world will look like in 2018?  Although you constantly are adapting to changes in the current environment to help your credit unions thrive, do you have a sense of where the world will be in 5 years and what the credit union’s role will be in that world.

Our facilitator for the CEO Summit is David Polet, Director, Voice of Customer for CUNA Mutual Group.  David Polet has worked in the Voice of Customer area since 2009, becoming director in 2012. Beyond overseeing the execution of research, he is responsible for bringing the voice of customers, both credit unions and members, to CUNA Mutual Group. He is also responsible for facilitating a number of credit union advisory panels with credit union leaders and CUNA Mutual Group business leaders as well as helping to bring CUNA Mutual Group’s research to credit unions through white papers and speaking engagements.

The CEO Summit offers great facilitation and work sessions.  If you’d like to bring another person from your credit union, we’d love for them to attend.   Not able to attend?  Then send your COO or the person responsible for setting and implementing your credit union’s strategic goals. 

Hotel Registration Deadline:  May 31, 2013
Reservations for the conference can be made by calling Camden on the Lake at (573) 365-562.  Deluxe hotel king suites are $149 per night and one bedroom grand suites are $189 per nights.   Reservations after May 31 are on a space/rate-available basis.  Be sure to mention the Missouri Credit Union Association and code CUCS0713 to receive the discounted rate.  Rooms must be guaranteed with a major credit card or one night’s deposit.  Check-in is at 4 pm.  Check-out is 11 am.

Golf Outing - Pre-conference Golf Outing at Osage National Golf Course
Join us Tuesday morning for a round of golf at Osage National Golf Course.  Transportation will be provided to and from the course along with range balls.  As soon as you arrive at Osage National Golf Resort, you realize you're at a special golf destination. Drop your bags at the bag drop and one of our professional staff will take your golf bag to a modern and clean golf cart equipped with GPS.  The Baker Group is sponsoring the golf outing which has reduced the fee to $65.

CEO Summit Registration Information
The registration fee for the CEO Summit is $499 per person for registrations received before May 31.  Registrations received after May 31 will be charged a rate of $599 per person.  This fee includes all materials, speaker fees, premium, meals and refreshment breaks.

The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) is offering tiered pricing for eligible credit unions. The tiered pricing model is shown below.

Spouses/guests are welcome to join us for dinner Tuesday evening.  The fee is $75 per person before May 31 and $100 after May 31.  All other meals will have conversations and activities which are limited to participants.  

Substitution accepted anytime.  Refunds will be issued until May 31 less a $100 administrative fee per person.
