President: Conservation Employees Credit Union

Conservation Employees Credit Union, located in Jefferson City, Missouri ($102M in assets) is in search of a new President.   A top performer in delivering service and value to our members since 1955, the credit union today serves more than 7,700 members from among the employees, retirees and volunteers of the Missouri Department of Conservation and their families.    The President leads the one branch team of 17 employees, and is responsible for and has general control over the administration and operation of the business of the credit union.  As the credit union’s President, you will direct all credit union operations including investments, accounting, lending, marketing, compliance, IT and reporting.    

Candidates must have five to eight years of proven managerial and administrative expertise within a financial institution, with preference given to experience in the management of a credit union at the senior level.  A bachelor`s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Marketing or related field is required, MBA preferred.   Three to five years of direct supervisory experience is required. Candidates must demonstrate knowledge of the laws, rules and regulations pertaining to the governance and supervision of financial institutions.

Position Details:

Responsible for assisting with the direction and administration of Branch operations.  Ensures that established policies and procedures are followed.  Oversees the provision of a full range of services to members and prospective members.  Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served.  Acts as Branch Manager as necessary.  Trains, directs, and assists in supervising Branch staff.  Performs various Branch functions as required.

Accounting Representative – O’Fallon

Position Details:

Responsible for providing accounting and clerical support to Accounting personnel.  Maintains accounting document files, including daily work and ATM balance sheets assists accounting personnel as requested.

Member Services Consultant - Brentwood

We are looking for a qualified professional with a passion for leadership, innovation, automation & process improvement and driving performance excellence to join the credit union team in the role of Member Services Consultant.

Position Details:

Responsible for performing a broad variety of member services such as opening and closing accounts, renewing certificate accounts and assisting members with bookkeeping and checking account problems. Answers member questions regarding Credit Union services provided and performs a variety of account maintenance. Cross sells services and performs related clerical functions as required. Assists or refers members with any and all questions or problems that arise. Attends to all telephone inquiries and transactions for members.

Training Specialist:  1st MidAmerica Credit Union

1st MidAmerica Credit Union has over 80 years of history servicing members of the Central Illinois and Kansas City areas. We have 12 branches currently throughout the area servicing over 58,000 residents in 22 counties!

We are seeking a Training Specialist to develop, coordinate and deliver corporate training and development programs to provide core knowledge and essential skills to credit union employees.  This position will be based out of our Corporate Offices in Bethalto, IL

Essential Functions & Responsibilities:

  • Conducts basic training for new employees, including new Tellers and Member Service staff.
  • Conducts training and develops communication pieces in areas such as:  new products and services, compliance/regulatory practices, credit union policies/procedures, member service techniques and refresher training.
  • Selects/Develop programs using various instructional technologies and formats (classroom, e-learning, webinar).
  • Evaluates and assists in designing instructional manuals, handouts, tutorials, tests and other related materials.  May develop standardized policies and procedures as assigned.
  • Tracks the progress of trainees through routine tests, observation, and feedback from supervisors; evaluates the effectiveness of the current training, recognizing when additional training may be necessary.
  • Maintains training records for courses and attendees. Completes required reports and documents.
  • Prepares monthly employee newsletter.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Education, Human Resources, Communications or related field Minimum of 2 years’ experience in corporate employee training and development.  Experience with a financial institution (credit union or bank) strongly desired.
  • Creative ability, writing proficiency and visual graphics design Must be a high energy, strong public speaker with advanced presentation skills Professional appearance and demeanor Ability to perform duties with minimal direction.  Experience supervising staff preferred.
  • Advanced skills with MS Office programs (Word/Excel/PowerPoint).
  • Advanced skills with applicable financial operating and lending core systems desired.
  • Must be flexible and available to work a non-standard work schedule, including evening and weekend hours. Must be willing to travel both locally and regionally. Overnight travel may occur up to one-two weeks.
