Credit unions in Missouri are encouraged to take part in the Credit Union National Association’s (CUNA) examination survey. The survey deadline is January 15. The purpose of the survey is to give credit unions the opportunity to share their experiences with on-site regulatory exams and their level of satisfaction with the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) and state regulator performance, as well as the results of the exams. The survey also gives credit unions a chance to describe the strengths and weaknesses of their state and federal examination experiences. So far, more than 1,100 credit union representatives nationwide have participated in the survey.
“Ensuring credit unions are operating in the best regulatory environment possible is a high priority for both the Missouri Credit Union Association and CUNA. It is very important that Missouri’s credit unions voice their viewpoints regarding the regulatory environment,” says Don Cohenour, Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) president/CEO. “Without that input, the information gathered will not reflect the concerns of credit unions in the Show-Me State. ”
