The Shared Branch Network in Metropolitan Kansas City just got a little bigger. CommunityAmerica Credit Union recently opened four new outlets in Kansas. The network now has 30 branches in the Kansas City area, with five located in Kansas. In Missouri, more than 40 credit unions participate in the Shared Branch Network offering consumers 120 branches.
“We’re pleased to now offer shared branching at four of our Johnson County locations,” said Rod Gruenberg, CommunityAmerica senior vice president of Operations. “Shared branching embodies the credit union cooperative spirit and will provide more credit union members with added convenience and access to fast, friendly service that further differentiates us from other financial institutions we all compete against.”
The new branch outlets are listed below:
6280 W. 135th Street
Overland Park, KS 66223
5601 W. 95th Street
Overland Park, KS 66207
13590 S. Black Bob Road
Olathe, KS 66062
16110 W. 65th Street

“We are excited about expanding the number of shared branches in Kansas," says Mark Hohenstein, MCUA vice president of CUSB. "Several of our participating credit unions have members either living or working in that state, and now their credit union just became more convenient to them.”
