General Role:
This position will be responsible for directing and coordinating the activities of credit union personnel at a full service branch.  This position will support the Branch Manager in ensuring the branch meets organizational financial, operational, service and growth plans.

  • Leads a staff through training, coaching, evaluating, disciplining, performance management, goal setting and scheduling.
  • Assists staff with daily processing and balancing; making appropriate decisions when processing transactions; and cash/vault management.

  • Reviews documents prepared by staff, such as member transaction records, vault entry/exit records to ensure compliance with organizational policies and procedures.
  • Explains services to potential consumer account members to generate additional business and to promote positive public relations.
  • Resolves account-related concerns with members.
  • Evaluates all branch activities to ensure they are in compliance with established credit union policies, procedures and objectives; recommend changes to Manager.
  • Manages branch office in absence of manager.
     

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Degree in business administration, marketing sales or a related field and 3 or more year’s experience branch management in a financial institution. 
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Knowledge and ability to effectively lead, train, coach, evaluate and if necessary discipline staff.
  • Strong knowledge of sales and service techniques.
  • Knowledge of credit union services and products.

The hours are 8:15 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Monday - Thursday, Friday 8:15 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. and Saturday 8:15 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.  If working a Saturday the employee will receive a day off during the week.

Member Service Center - Chesterfield

There is an immediate opening in the Member Service Center. Duties include answering inbound calls, basic financial transactions, as well as opening new accounts, CDs, and IRAs.
