Kansas City Credit Union (KCCU) recently held their annual KidsFest on Saturday, July 20, 2013. It was a fun time for kids of all ages!
Activities included goodie bags and treats for the kids, as well as a coloring contest with a family four-pack to Worlds of Fun and Oceans of Fun as the grand prize. Second and third place winners won McDonald’s gift cards. Winners of the coloring contest included: Andre Carnes, first place; Donovan Strozier, second place; and Jorrdyn Kindle, third place.
During KidsFest, the KCCU mascot “Gidget” was present to play with the children. Gidget is one of their employee’s dogs that has been officially adopted as their credit union mascot.
“We have many children who have Kid’s Club accounts with us, so KidsFest is a great way for us to say thank you to them for being a member with our credit union,” commented Deborah Darby, director of Marketing.
