Shop for the Holidays, Raise Money For MCUCF
‘Tis the season for holiday shopping! If you’re an online shopper, there’s an easy way to give back to the Missouri Credit Union Charitable Foundation (MCUCF).
Through iGive.com, you can choose from tons of retailers, including Best Buy, Amazon.com, Kohl’s and Target. These stores in turn donate a portion of your purchase to MCUCF. iGive is a free service that directly benefits MCUCF.
You can sign up by going to iGive.com. At the top left, fill in your first and last name, email address, password and enter the Missouri Credit Union Charitable Foundation in the last box. Click on the Join Now box.
There are two ways to use iGive: installing a button or searching the iGive.com database.
Installing the button is safe and secure. After you have signed up with iGive.com, it will prompt you to install it on your browser toolbar. The iGive button is compatible with Internet Explorer 7.0 – 10.x, Firefox 3.0 – 24.x, Safari 4.x – 6.0.x, and Chrome 9.0 – 30.x. The button is not compatible with iPad, iPhone or mobile phone browsers.
The website will launch either iTunes or app store page to confirm installation.
Once it’s finished, you’ll see the iGive button displayed at the top right of your browser tool bar (see right). Click on it. From the dropdown menu you can select “iGive Store List.” From this page, you can compare coupons, deals and browse the participating stores. You can even access Amazon.com directly from this menu.
Outside of iGive.com, you will see an iGive icon at the bottom right-hand side of the page for most stores. This signifies that it is a participating retailer. However, for some stores, a red panel will display and you’ll need to click a button to confirm that you wish to shop for good.
Not a fan of installing apps? You can still access stores by visiting this iGive page and searching for the store of your choice.
Thank you for helping MCUCF support the credit union mission.
