iVia Exchange Services (formerly LIPC) is gaining ground across the Midwest. The Credit Union Association of Oklahoma is endorsing MCUA’s in-house item processing center to its member credit unions effective November 15. Oklahoma is the second credit union association to promote iVia, following the Kentucky Credit Union League.
“Collaborating with other credit union leagues is a win-win for both organizations,” says Kevin Brueseke, MCUA chief financial and services officer. “The relationships these Leagues have with their member credit unions help open the doors for our product, and in turn we can fill a need that the League wasn’t currently providing for its credit unions.”
Consumer trends show the number of items cleared at credit unions is decreasing over time. Opening up new markets helps iVia Exchange maintain efficiencies of scale and current levels of highly rated service while holding true to its value pricing model.
