Representatives Paul Fitzwater (R-District 144), Lyndall Fraker (R-District 137) and Craig Redmon (R-District 4) held a fundraiser at Missouri Credit Union Association’s Jefferson City office on January 29.
Approximately 50 friends and supporters attended the event throughout the evening, including Chair of the House Financial Institutions Committee Tony Dugger (R-District 141) and House Majority Floor Leader John Diehl (R-District 89).
“We were excited to welcome Representatives Fitzwater, Fraker and Redmon to Credit Union House for their event,” says David Kent, director of state legislative affairs for Missouri Credit Union Association. “The representatives had a great turnout for their event and were very appreciative to use our space. Doing events like this helps raise awareness about MCUA and credit unions when people visit our location.”
Rep. Fitzwater is a member of the House Financial Institutions Committee and represents Iron County and parts of Washington, Wayne and Reynolds Counties. Rep. Fraker represents parts of Webster and Greene counties. Rep. Redmon represents Schuyler, Scotland, Clark, Knox, Lewis and Adair counties. All were elected to their first two-year term in November 2010.
According to Project Zip Code, Rep. Fitzwater has 2,359 credit union members residing in his district; Rep. Fraker has 7,291 credit union members residing in his district; and Rep. Redmon has 2,497 credit union members residing in his district.
