United Labor Credit Union Hosts Another Successful Retiree Forum

United Labor Credit Union’s (Kansas City) held its 6th Annual Union Retiree Financial Forum, on Thursday, March 20, 2014.

This event was open to credit union members in the Kansas City area.

The free, educational forum was a fun-filled day of industry experts presentations that focused on retirement. These experts covered topics like the Affordable Heath Care Act, estimating healthcare costs into retirement, estate planning, social security fundamentals, how NOT to outlive your money, income during retirement, and more.

Internationally acclaimed comedian and hypnotist, Terry DaVolt, emceed the event. He kept the audience on their toes and the event on schedule. See the picture at top right.

Special guests included Walter Smith (retired Roofers’ Local 20 member), a screener for the National Building Trades Medical Screening Program, and Walt Ingram, who shared information about the mission of Union Sportsmen’s Alliance.
