Credit union management and volunteers are encouraged to make plans now to participate in the only Missouri Hike the Hill in 2014 to Washington, D.C. The dates are June 17-19. There will not be a fall Hill visit due to the November elections.
Hike the Hill is an opportunity to share credit union concerns and issues with federal lawmakers and their staff. Credit unions have lots to discuss, including continued efforts to maintain the credit union tax status, data breach concerns, regulatory reform, patent trolling, housing reform and developments in member business lending legislation.
The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) arranges all Hill meetings with the Missouri Congressional delegation and meals for attendees.
