St. Louis Community Supports Credit Union Friend

St. Louis Community Credit Union hosted an event for Jake Zimmerman who is seeking re-election as St. Louis County Assessor.

Zimmerman, who formerly served as Missouri State Representative for District 83, has demonstrated strong support and understanding of credit union issues during his time as an elected official.

The meeting took place on April 10 and provided an opportunity to discuss credit union concerns on the state and federal level, and also hear about the St. Louis County Assessor’s efforts.

“Jake has been a great credit union friend over the years, and continues to stay up to date on our issues," says Mike O'Brien, St. Louis Community SVP & chief advocacy officer. "Even in his current role, he’s helping credit unions because his office is focused on doing what’s fair and appropriate for our members. We appreciate his support, and were happy to host the event on his behalf.”

Leaders from credit unions across the St. Louis metropolitan area attended the fundraising event.  Participating credit unions included:

  • American Eagle
  • Anheuser-Busch Employees’
  • Arsenal
  • First Community
  • First Missouri
  • Missouri Credit Union Association
  • St. Louis Community
  • Vantage
  • West Community
