May is Project Zip Code Month for Missouri’s credit unions. So far, 37 credit unions from across the state have run the program. Click here to see a complete list of the credit unions with updated Project Zip Code results.
The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) encourages credit unions to download and run the program in May. Project Zip Code (PZC) 14.0 is the latest version available for download.
PZC is a secure computer program that helps determine the number of members your credit union has in each state and federal legislative district. This information helps demonstrate the size and strength of the credit union movement to lawmakers.
“When lawmakers see how many of their constituents are credit union members, they are more likely to pay closer attention to credit union issues and take our concerns seriously,” says Amy McLard, SVP of Advocacy. “It also allows credit unions to track what counties and zip codes their members live in, to assist with marketing and growth strategies.”
The MCUA Advocacy department is available to handle questions and troubleshoot PZC issues. Contact Jane Ralls at 800.392.3074, ext. 1305 or via email.
