June is here and that means the deadline (Friday, June 27, 2014) to enter the 2014 Missouri Credit Union Association Recognition (MCUA) Awards is just around the corner.
Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate your credit union’s accomplishments! Last year was full of amazing credit union programs and community-focused efforts, and MCUA would love to see yours earn some local and maybe even national accolades.
Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Recognition Award is given to a credit union or chapter for its social responsibility projects within the community. The award is given for external activities.
The Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action is given to a credit union to formally recognize demonstration of its practical application of credit union philosophy in action for its members.
The Desjardins Financial Education Award recognizes credit unions and chapters for their financial education efforts. It considers all activities supporting personal finance education. There is a youth and adult division of this award.
Featured activities must have taken place between May 2013 and May 2014.
This year there is a $25 entry fee for each submission to help cover the cost of judging on the state and national levels. Entries must arrive at MCUA's St. Louis office (2055 Craigshire Rd., St. Louis, MO 63146) by 5 p.m. on Friday, June 27, 2014. Check out the full brochure for details on what you need to submit.
