Arsenal Credit Union (Arnold) helped reach more than 3,800 St. Louis-area residents with financial education offerings during Money Smart Week, April 5-12.
Arsenal hosted four financial education seminars at Jefferson County Library branches in Arnold and High Ridge, including classes on identity theft protection and the relationship between debt and credit. An additional kids-only seminar featured a visit from the credit union’s youth savings club mascot, Tracker, and a story time with books donated by Country Financial.
Jenny Remes, Marketing coordinator and Financial Education director at Arsenal, chaired the Jefferson County committee for Money Smart Week.
A total of 205 seminars were held throughout the St. Louis area. This marked Arsenal's second year participating in the week-long financial education event.
Arsenal’s Money Smart Week offerings represent just a few of the many financial education seminars it holds throughout the year in the communities in which it operates, including hundreds of classroom presentations in local schools.
