On August 14, 20 and 21, 2014, Neighbors Credit Union (St. Louis) will host its free annual Credit Report Seminars.
“We are proud to host educational seminars for our community," says Becky Buehl, vice president of Marketing. "By providing a free copy of their credit report, attendees can get a personalized view of how a credit report works, as well as look for errors. In addition, if they have questions, we can answer them for their specific situations."
Eric Clark, vice president of Lending from Neighbors, will conduct the seminars. The seminars will explain what a credit report and score are and how to read them with systematic instructions. Members will learn where consumer-reporting agencies get their information from and what factors are used to calculate scores.
Each registered guest will receive free educational materials and a copy of their own credit report and score to follow along with during the presentation. There will also be refreshments and attendance prizes.
