Bank On More Helps Coffee Cartel Customers Live Larger

Customers of the popular Coffee Cartel (Central West End) received a welcomed surprise on Saturday, July 19—Bank On More provided free upgrades on all coffee, tea or fountain orders from 10 a.m.-4 p.m.

This coffee house takeover reinforced the “Live Larger” theme of the campaign. Each upgraded drink included a Bank On More branded coffee sleeve that asked consumers to espresso themselves on social media with the hashtag #BankOnMore.

In addition, staffers from the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) were on hand to chat with curious consumers about how credit unions can help them live larger with better interest rates and less fees.

“Community involvement is a vital piece of the Bank On More campaign,” says Nora Holloway, MCUA PR and Online Community director. “There are so many parts to this awareness campaign—billboards, print advertising, television ads, digital buys, and social media—but having that face-to-face communication makes all the difference when you’re sharing the credit union advantage with consumers.”

MCUA employees showed customers how to use the credit union finder on the Bank On More website. The team also handed out Bank On More materials, such as brochures, dog bones and T-shirts.  

Several customers came over to the Bank On More table to tell us thank you. One woman was a credit union member; she couldn’t believe that people don’t know about credit unions. She promised to share the credit union advantage with her family and friends.
