Every credit union has a story to tell. The Missouri Credit Union Association’s (MCUA) Convention & Expo will focus on the many ways you can share your credit union’s story—this can be a member testimonial, how your credit union gives back or an employee’s perspective on serving members.
Your credit union does a lot for your members. Ask your frontline staff if there are any members who would like to share how your credit union has helped them. This might include:
Many credit unions volunteer regularly for local nonprofits and organizations. This shows how committed credit unions are to their communities. If you have any statements or video clips of any representatives discussing how your credit union has made a difference, please send those in.
If you have a few well-spoken employees, ask them for positive member stories. Maybe they protected a member from a scam or they assisted members after a data breach. If they received positive feedback about the credit union, share it! You can also send in employees’ perspectives on any volunteer work they performed on behalf of the credit union.
