Pat Pettey, business development specialist with Electro Savings Credit Union, was recently installed on the South County Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors.
“Small businesses are struggling to find capital and so many business owners and entrepreneurs don’t realize that Electro Savings is an available option for them," says Pettey. “By being an active member and taking on a leader role with the Chamber, I can educate local business on credit unions as an option for businesses.”
The South County Chamber's mission is to grow local business and community in Oakville, Mehlville and Concord. The South County region represents nearly 100,000 residents.
“The only way businesses can survive in this economy is working together, and the Chamber is the perfect place [to do that]," says Fred Baras, president of the South County Chamber of Commerce.
