Action Alert: Small Business Lending Enhancement Act – S.509
Help Missouri small businesses and small business owners gain access to much-needed loans. The Small Business Lending Enhancement Act, S. 509 would raise the credit union member business lending cap to 27.5% of assets, providing more jobs and access to capital for small businesses. The Senate is currently putting together a small business jobs bill and the bill sponsor, Senator Mark Udall (D-Colorado) is working to get the credit union bill as a part of this package. We need your help to get the momentum going and urge support from Missouri’s U.S. Senators for this effort.
Please contact U.S. Senator Claire McCaskill (D) and U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R) TODAY. Urge them to include S. 509 in the small business jobs bill and to cosponsor S. 509. Your action is needed quickly.
Who should participate? Credit union presidents, employees, board members, and small business members. The input from small business owners who would be helped the most is very important.
