Several city and community business leaders were on hand for the ribbon-cutting of Alliance Credit Union's (Fenton) recently opened new Personal Service Branch located in O’Fallon, Missouri. This new branch concept provides members a full service ATM 24/7 and most traditional branch services but without teller lines. Instead, customers will sit down with a highly-skilled Personal Service Representative and have a conversation about how to meet their unique financial needs.
The full-service ATM will allow to be able members to make deposits as well as loan payments 24 hours a day. All cash transactions will be conducted through the ATM. This ATM is also surcharge-free and open to the public. The cashless branch is reflective of the emerging cashless society as technologies have allowed for more self-service transactions to be conducted electronically.
“A lot of financial services are moving toward online channels,” Alliance Credit Union President/CEO Dennis Sommer said. “The Personal Service Branch concept will allow us the opportunity to provide a high level of service with practically all the benefits of a full-service branch.”
“We look forward to better serving the O’Fallon community with this expansion,” Alliance branch manager Blake Wyatt said. “Even though electronic services have allowed people to meet much of their financial needs online, there is still a need for personal face-to-face communication.”Photo Caption: (R-L) During the ribbon-cutting, Dennis Sommer, Alliance president/CEO presented a $500 check to Brendan's Playground representative, Victoria Schmitt Babb and Mayor Bill Hennessy.
