CUNA Management School, a three-year course study, celebrated the graduation of 75 credit union professionals in July. Mazuma Credit Union Branch Manager Cynthia Little was part of the 2012 class. She was one of seven students who graduated with high honors. Little also earned her Certified Credit Union Executive (CCUE) designation.
"CUNA Management School provided me the opportunity to learn about all areas of the credit union giving me a much better ‘big picture’ perspective." says Little. "The program is top-notch with industry experts sharing their knowledge during class sessions. Over the past 3 years, I made lasting connections with my classmates and will keep them as valuable resources going forward."
During the program, students receive advanced academic training with practical, real-world applications designed specifically for credit union management personnel who aspire to achieve senior-level management and leadership positions in the industry. Nearly 5,000 men and women have graduated from the program since its inception in 1954. A graduation diploma is issued in conjunction with the University of Wisconsin Graduate School of Business and is recognized throughout the credit union movement as an honor and mark of accomplishment.
