Absentee Ballots and Voter Registration Deadlines for November 6 Election

Absentee Ballots and Voter Registration Deadlines for November 6 Election

While the General Election is six weeks away, voting has already begun.  Absentee voting starts on Tuesday, September 25.  Registered voters who will not be able to make it to their polling place on November 6 may vote absentee six weeks in advance of the election. The last day to vote absentee in person is Monday, November 5.

Absentee ballots may be requested from the local election authority in person, by mail or by fax.  For more information about voting absentee, visit the Missouri Secretary of State’s website.

Missourians who have not registered to vote have until Wednesday, October 10, to register to vote in the General Election.  Voter registration information is also available on the Missouri Secretary of State's website.
