Metro Rejoins Credit Union Shared Branching

Metro Credit Union (Springfield) rejoined the Credit Union Shared Branch (CUSB) Network adding two new outlets in the Springfield area. The Metro branches are expected to go live late 2012 or early 2013. With that addition, the Missouri CUSB Network will have nearly 120 branches.

“We are returning to the Shared Branch Network for a couple of reasons," says Kathie Peterie, Metro president/CEO. "One is with the hope of retaining members who are relocating and a second is to offer our members the conveniences of having numerous locations to transact their business. As a bonus, this will tie in nicely with the state-wide shared marketing campaign to create awareness of the credit union industry.”

More than 40 credit unions belong to CUSB in Missouri. To learn more about the network, click here or contact Mark Hohenstein.
