Newly elected State Representative Caleb Rowden (R-District 44) met with David Kent of the Missouri Credit Union Association in downtown Columbia on Wednesday, November 21. The two discussed the upcoming 97th General Assembly as well as issues important to both District 44 and the Representative.
“It was great to meet Representative Rowden in his home district,” says Kent. “He is very excited to get to work in Jefferson City representing the people of Columbia.” Representative Rowden expressed his interest in community development and entrepreneurship and was excited to learn more about credit unions and how they impact the community.
Prior to being elected to represent District 44, Rowden was a successful Christian rock musician. His band signed two record deals with national record labels, had two top 20 radio singles, sold thousands of records and toured more than 40 states.
