At the recent Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) annual business meeting, 11 members of the organization's board of directors were sworn in to service, including new leadership and one new member.
Brian Eyestone, president/CEO of Southpointe Credit Union (St. Louis) steps into the role as President, succeeding Dennis Pierce, president/CEO of CommunityAmerica Credit Union (Kansas City). Pierce served on the board for eight years.
"I'm honored to represent the credit unions in Missouri as the Chair of the board of directors of the Missouri Credit Union Association," says Eyestone. "It's a great organization with extraordinary potential to help credit unions succeed. I look forward to working with other board members and staff to continue our goal of providing products and services of great value delivered with exceptional customer service."
Eyestone previously held the position of 1st Vice Chair. Stepping up to the 1st Vice Chair role is Judy Hadsall, president/CEO of CU Community Credit Union (Springfield). Hadsall’s replacement as 2nd Vice Chair is Randy Yeck, executive vice president, Vantage Credit Union (Bridgeton).
Rick Nichols, president/CEO of River Region Credit Union (Jefferson City) remains board treasurer. Mike O’Brien, senior vice president, St. Louis Community Credit Union continues his role as board secretary.
Lisa Ginter, chief operations officer of CommunityAmerica Credit Union joins the leadership group for the first time.
“I’ve been fortunate to have spent my entire professional career in the credit union movement over the last 25 years,” says Ginter. “Serving on the MCUA board combines my passion for ‘people helping people’ with my desire to provide strategic direction to ensure a bright future for all credit unions in Missouri and the hard working members we serve every day.”
