Credit unions in Missouri give back to their members in many ways, including actual cash back. As not-for-profit financial cooperatives, a credit union’s top priority is to serve members with exceptional personal service, products, and services at fair prices.
On average, every credit union member in the United States had a direct financial benefit of $62 in 2012. That came from lower rates on loans, higher returns on savings, and lower and fewer fees than a bank. But that $62 benefit is only an average. Active members who use many credit union services often see even greater benefits.
These are just a few of the credit unions in Missouri that returned money directly back into the pockets of its members in 2012.
That totals up to more than $7.185 million returned back to members in Missouri in 2012. Nationwide, 96 million credit union members received about $6 billion in credit union benefits.
“As a member-owned institution, members reap the benefits of our success,” says Dennis Pierce, CEO of CommunityAmerica Credit Union. “We consistently demonstrate this commitment throughout the year by offering competitive rates and exceptional products and services to help members achieve their financial dreams.”
