Credit unions in Missouri are in the business of helping people—not satisfying shareholders or making profits. This member-centric approach garners not only satisfaction, but also loyalty from members. Sharing member testimonials is vital to proving the importance of credit unions to lawmakers. The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) encourages credit unions to send these stories here. Please remember to get permission from the member before sharing, and include a photo when possible.
Electro Savings Credit Union (ESCU) recently heard from U.S. Army Staff Sergeant Norman L. Stentz, who has been a member of ESCU since 2007. In his email, he compliments the staff and thanks the credit union for its service.
“I want to express my family’s gratitude towards you and Electro Saving Credit Union for once again providing us the means to have a vehicle that not only gets us from place to place, but allows us to do so safely and comfortably,” writes SSG Stentz.
He also states that every single employee he has spoken to has been professional and extremely courteous.
“Often businesses in today’s market do not practice this kind of business ethic and I find this deeply rewarding,” continues SSG Stentz. “It will keep me a loyal customer to your credit union for many years. I feel that over the years we have become part of the Electro family.”
If you have questions about sharing member testimonials with lawmakers, please contact Amy McLard, MCUA senior vice president of Advocacy, via email or at 314.542.1370.
