The doors of the newest First Community branch location opened for business this past Monday, February 10, 2014. This full-service branch with drive-ups and an ATM is located at 1070 South Brentwood Boulevard directly across from the Galleria Mall. The branch features state-of-the-art cash handling equipment and an impressive video wall behind the teller line.
A ribbon cutting celebration was held on Friday, February 7. A 30-foot ribbon of cash was cut by Melissa Perotti, branch manager and Glenn D. Barks, president and CEO. The cash was then donated to the Animal Protective Association of Missouri located near the branch. Robin Wood personally accepted that donation on behalf of the APA of Missouri.
A grand opening celebration is planned for the week of February 24, 2014. Fredbird will make a special appearance on Saturday, March 1, from 10 a.m. until noon. Special offers on checking accounts, loans and certificates of deposit will be available all week.
