Bank On More, the statewide consumer awareness campaign, earned the highest communication award bestowed on Leagues in the credit union industry. The Credit Union National Association (CUNA) named Bank On More the "Best Campaign on Behalf of a League" for its Blockbuster Awards program. The Blockbuster Awards recognize exceptional marketing, advertising and publications in the credit union movement. This is the fourth award given to Bank On More for the 2013 campaign year. Earlier in May, Bank On More earned two gold and one silver International Communicator Awards.
"I think it's clear that what we're doing here in Missouri is working," says Don Cohenour, Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) president/CEO. "The award recognition we've received is great, but spreading the benefits of credit union membership has always been our top priority. I want to personally thank all of the credit unions that supported our campaign from the beginning. While this award celebrates year one, I'm really excited about year two because I think it's even better that our first year."
MCUA will receive the prestigious award at the CUNA GAPS/Communicators Conference on June 16 in Washington D.C.
