Representatives from Electro Savings Credit Union will be hosting a financial education seminar about personal credit and budgeting on January, 24 from 6 – 7 p.m. at the West Point Apartment Homes Leasing Office, located at 2037 Chablis Drive, St. Louis, MO 63146.
The seminar is free and open to the public. Pizza and refreshments will be provided. Laura Mugge, Community Development Specialist from Electro Savings Credit Union will cover various topics, including the significance of a credit report and score, how to establish and/or rebuild a good credit history, tips for using credit wisely and individual credit rights and responsibilities.
“Many people just do not understand the credit process and how credit reporting works,” says Mugge. “The goal of the seminars is to educate people on personal budgeting and give them a basic understanding of the credit process so they can avoid, minimize or begin to repair financial difficulties.”
