Neighbors Credit Union (St. Louis) teamed up with Cintas to provide the community with the opportunity to shred documents containing personal information. Members of the credit union and community showed up with bags and boxes of personal documents for shredding. Over one hundred people brought items to be shredded; totaling over 1,200 pounds of documents!
“Our members and the residents of the community that took advantage of the free service were very grateful to Neighbors Credit Union,” says Denise Brady, Neighbors Credit Union vice president of Retail Sales and Service. “People are more educated than ever before on the risks of identity theft and are looking for ways to keep their personal information safe and ensure that it is being properly disposed. Neighbors Credit Union was glad to help!”Photo Caption: Members of the credit union and community drop off shredding at the annual Neighbors Credit Union Shred Day.
