In-district meetings are one way to share credit union concerns with elected officials closer to home.
U.S. Senator Roy Blunt (R) has posted information on his website about a series of Listening Posts with his staff around the state. Click here to access the dates and locations for listening posts in each region of the state. The meetings continue through next week.
Sen. Blunt has recently signed on as a cosponsor for S. 3204, the ATM disclosure bill that would lift the requirement for an external disclosure on ATMs when an electronic disclosure is provided. He is not a cosponsor of the Credit Union Small Business Jobs Act, S. 2231, which would raise the member business lending limit on credit unions from 12.25 to 27.5% of assets.
Members of the U.S. House of Representatives are back in the home districts this week. If you learn of meeting opportunities here in Missouri with U.S. Representatives, or take part in any of the listening post events with Sen. Blunt’s staff, please share that information with Amy McLard at 314.922.7300.
