The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) is asking credit unions to run Project Zip Code (PZC) version 12.0 in October. Credit union participation is essential to accurately reflect the number of credit union members in each legislative district across the state. Missouri lost a Congressional seat in 2012. All of the districts were redrawn on the federal and state level. Credit unions that have not run version 11.0 or 12.0 are not reflected in the new district PZC results.
Project Zip Code is a program that counts the zip codes of credit union members and identifies what federal and state legislative districts they live in. With Project Zip Code, credit unions can show Missouri’s elected officials how many credit union members are in their district. It also provides additional marketing tools for credit unions.
MCUA is mailing PZC information to each Missouri credit union. Credit unions that have run the program before will receive their log-in and passwords. Credit unions that have not run the program before simply need to log in and get started. The PZC program is available online at : http://www.pzconline.com/install/index.asp. The website also includes a user manual and frequently asked questions.
Credit unions are asked to run Project Zip Code by October 31. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact the MCUA Advocacy Department at 800.392.3074.
