Vantage Credit Union (Bridgeton, MO) raised awareness and funds for a subject dear to its heart, cancer research. Over $3,000 was raised during September and October for Prostate and Breast Cancer Awareness. The credit union held a ‘blue’ dress down day and bake sale on September 12 for prostate cancer and a ‘pink’ dress down day and gift basket auction on October 19 for breast cancer.
A check for $1,640 was presented by Vantage Credit Union Executive Vice President Eric Acree, to The Empowerment Network last week. A check for $1,492 will be mailed to the Susan G. Komen – Race For The Cure, by Human Resources Manager Laura Zettler, who spearheaded the breast cancer dress down day and gift basket auction for credit union employees.
“The fight against cancer and its devastating effects is an ongoing battle, and Vantage is proud to be a contributor toward efforts to find cures for prostate and breast cancer,” said Acree.Photo Caption:Vantage Credit Union staff on "Pink Dress Down Day."
