TelComm's PSAs Share Safety Tips for Children

TelComm Credit Union (Springfield) provides many services to its community—even helpful safety tips for children. Over the past two years, the credit union has teamed with Safe Kids Springfield to create short, simple public service announcements (PSA) that include advice for parents. Safe Kids Springfield is a member of Safe Kids USA, a nationwide network of organizations working to prevent unintentional childhood injury, the leading cause of death and disability for children ages 1 to 14.

Recently, Central Missouri Community Credit Union's (CMCCU) Sedalia branch brightened the lives of residents of its local nursing home. These CMCCU employees hosted a drawing to raise money to purchase presents for the elderly.

Members purchased tickets for this drawing for a chance to win a holiday-themed wreath. The raffle was open to CMCCU members.

The 1st Financial Federal Credit Union Board of Directors announced Carol Minges as the credit union's chief executive officer (CEO) effective immediately. Minges has served as the interim CEO since June 2013. She replaced outgoing CEO Frank Nelson.
