CommunityAmerica Opens Shared Branch Outlets

The Shared Branch Network in Metropolitan Kansas City just got a little bigger. CommunityAmerica Credit Union recently opened four new outlets in Kansas. The network now has 30 branches in the Kansas City area, with five located in Kansas. In Missouri, more than 40 credit unions participate in the Shared Branch Network offering consumers 120 branches.

MCUA Names Cohenour CEO

The Board of Directors of the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) today announced its appointment of Don Cohenour as the organization’s new president/CEO, effective immediately. Cohenour, formerly named interim president/CEO, succeeds Mike Beall, who left the company in November 2012.

MCUA Announces Upcoming Webinars

Webinars are back in 2013! The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) is offering monthly webinars on a variety of topics through June. "Webinar" is short for Web seminar. Participants communicate with the presenter while viewing a Power Point presentation on their computer. It's an easy way to train several staff members at once without leaving the office.
