MCUA to Announce Award Winners at Convention & Expo

The 2012 state-level winners of the Credit Union National Association's (CUNA) Dora Maxwell Social Responsibility Award, Louise Herring Award for Philosophy in Action, and the Desjardins Financial Education Award (Youth and Adult) will be announced at this year's Convention & Exposition (October 2-3) in Branson, MO. The award ceremony will take place Thursday, October 4, from 7:30-8:30 during breakfast.

Statewide Consumer Outreach Campaign: Commitments Pass Half Way Mark

Friday afternoon (Sept 14) saw a rise in the consumer outreach campaign thermometer as two additional credit unions made commitments to the campaign.

Consumer Survey Results Are In

It's only a matter of time until mobile banking is the primary method for conducting financial transactions - that's according to a recent survey of Missouri consumers. Credit unions were asked to distribute the survey to their members online, via e-mail and social media platforms June 15 through July 15.

Consumer Outreach Campaign Passes 200K Commitment

Credit unions in Missouri are one step closer to launching a statewide consumer outreach campaign as the membership thermometer rises to 208,956. On behalf of the credit unions in Missouri, and as approved by its board of directors, the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) will continue development and launch the campaign if credit union commitments received represent 700,000 members – about half of the state's current members.
