October is Project Zip Code Month for Missouri Credit Unions

The Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) is asking credit unions to run Project Zip Code (PZC) version 12.0 in October.  Credit union participation is essential to accurately reflect the number of credit union members in each legislative district across the state.  Missouri lost a Congressional seat in 2012.  All of the districts were redrawn on the federal and state level.  Credit unions that have not run version 11.0 or 12.0 are not reflected in the new district PZC results

Project Zip Code Offers Free Webinar

Missouri credit unions are invited to take part in a free Project Zip Code (PZC) webinar on January 25 at 2 p.m. This webinar is good for first-time users or as a refresher for those who have prior experience. PZC is a software program designed to match credit union members to their legislative districts at both the federal and state levels. With new districts being created as a result of the 2012 U.S. Census, it is more important than ever for credit unions to participate in PZC. The webinar will cover:

Missouri Credit Unions Run Project Zip Code

More than 60 Missouri credit unions have already participated in Project Zip Code (PZC) so far this fall. And there’s still time to participate and be counted. To accurately reflect the size and power of credit union membership to lawmakers, all state credit unions are asked to run PZC by November 11. Use this link to download and run PZC. Project Zip Code counts the zip codes of your members and identifies what federal and state legislative districts they live in.
