A meeting with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB) kicked off Missouri’s Hike the Hill. Credit union leaders from across the state of Missouri met with the CFPB on June 8 to start their Washington, D.C. visits.
In advance of 2015 advocacy efforts, the Missouri Credit Union Association (MCUA) is updating data for the Show-Me Scorecard, a brochure that credit union advocates provide federal and state lawmakers.
Credit union leaders are in Washington D.C. for Missouri Hike the Hill this week. A full day of visits on Capitol Hill takes place on June 18, with meetings scheduled with all ten Missouri U.S. Senate and House offices. Participants are also visiting the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) offices for board meeting on June 19.
