KCCU Celebrates ICU Day


Kansas City Credit Union (KCCU) celebrated International Credit Union Day (October 17) by handing out a variety of cookies and freshly popped popcorn throughout the day to its members. Several members commented that they wished every day was International Credit Union Day—they really enjoyed the treats!

KCCU Holds Annual Member Appreciation Day


Kansas City Credit Union recently held their Annual Member Appreciation Day on Friday, September 27, 2013. It was a really fun time for those members who could attend. A variety of gifts and money were given out, along with a free lunch of hot dogs, chips, cookies and drinks.

It’s been a long time in the making, but Kevin Welp, credit manager at Kansas City Credit Union (KCCU) has reached 25 years of working at the credit union!

It is such a huge accomplishment that KCCU just had to celebrate his 25 years amongst all of the KCCU staff and the Board of Directors.

KCCU Holds School Supply Drive


Kansas City Credit Union recently held a school supply donation drive for Della Lamb Community Services, an organization that has been serving low-income Kansas Citians since 1897. The school supplies donations help low-income, Kansas City school-aged kids whose families cannot afford to shop for back-to-school items.

Floyd Manley Retires from KCCU


Floyd Manley has retired from the Kansas City Credit Union after 22 years of service. Kansas City Credit Union (KCCU) was established in 1940 to serve the employees of the city of Kansas City and their families.

A Visit from Santa at KCCU


Santa made his annual visit to Kansas City Credit Union (KCCU) on Saturday, December 10. During the 90 minutes he was able to spare between his preparations for Christmas, Santa delighted 72 kids by taking photos with them, listening to their wish lists and handing out gifts and treats. The credit union was packed that day from the moment Santa showed until it was time for him to go back to the North Pole.
