Shared Branching: Gen Y Members Want It All


Gen Y is known for their fondness for everything electronic and digital—that means they just need access to online banking and a decent app, right? Wrong. A recent survey uncovered that Gen Y members are much more likely to visit a branch, drive up ATM or phone a call center than any other segment.

Check out the results in the table below. Gen Y respondents of the survey indicated they utilized branches and "offline" services more often than older respondents.

Missouri's Shared Branch Network Keeps Growing


Please join us in welcoming Rolla Federal Credit Union to the Missouri Shared Branch Network! This brings the grand total to 44 credit unions participating in Missouri. They will be the second outlet in the city of Rolla. Their branch is located at 1012 Forum Drive, Rolla, MO 65401.

CommunityAmerica Opens Shared Branch Outlets


The Shared Branch Network in Metropolitan Kansas City just got a little bigger. CommunityAmerica Credit Union recently opened four new outlets in Kansas. The network now has 30 branches in the Kansas City area, with five located in Kansas. In Missouri, more than 40 credit unions participate in the Shared Branch Network offering consumers 120 branches.

Credit Unions Climb the Convenience Branch


Credit unions are gaining ground on big banks when it comes to offering more branch locations. Credit unions that participate in CO-OP Shared Branching provide their members with the fourth largest financial branch network in the United States and in the state of Missouri. The network enables members to conduct their financial business regardless of where they live, work or travel. Credit unions offer 4,593 branches nationwide beating out U.S. Bank by more than a 1,500 locations. Chase/WaMu, Bank of America and Wells Fargo/Wachovia top the national list.
